The minute I stepped on campus, I fell in love. I really knew that I was going to excel here. I had other college options that were closer to home and might have made more sense but High Point University stood out and it has set me apart in the field.

We have a four-year graduation guarantee. We have a internship guarantee program. We also have in-resident mentors, folks like Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer, Mark Randolph, co-founder of Netflix, Cynt Marshall, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks.

We are the premier life skills university. I like to think of those as transferable skills.

They have so many different learning labs and hands-on life skills opportunities with these beautiful facilities that we have that students can be able to practice in the environments that they'll be working and living in once they graduate.

Not only do we want to get them acclimated academically, we want to get them feeling a part and woven into the fabric of the university community.

I just felt like I was immediately surrounded by all these people that just really wanted to take me under their wing and help me succeed. As far as High Point's motto is concerned, "Inspiring environment with caring people," I think they definitely hit that right on the head.

There are kids from all 50 states and 37 different countries here to be able to learn from them and meet them and hear about their experiences really helps you form your own.

There's really no price that I wouldn't be willing to pay for the amazing experiences that I had here.
